I was told off by a fellow teacher. A senior teacher. Who thought I was a student, invading the staffroom. Bugger!

This was what happened. I wasn't at my cubicle. I went and sat at a desk near the exit of the staffroom because i wanted to draw the seating layout of the teachers and that's the best place..Then, came this lecturer and she sternly asked what am i doing there. Of course, i told her that i'm drawing the layout. She said the office has a copy and i shouldn't be sitting there saying that the desk is only for students coming in for consultation.

Fine! I got up and walked back to my cubicle. She saw me walking back to my cubicle and asked another teacher. Then, she came to me and apologise, saying that she thought i was a student. What?!? @#$#%$##@
I'm been in the staffroom for 2 weeks and she doesn't know?

Btw, she added that I CAN SIT ANYWHERE I LIKE in the staffroom.(since I'm not a student)

I really didn't know what to say. Just nodded. Mou tuin tuin (cantonese) got scolded by a colleague.

p/s: I don't think it's appropriate to talk to a student like that too.
