I was told off by a fellow teacher. A senior teacher. Who thought I was a student, invading the staffroom. Bugger!
This was what happened. I wasn't at my cubicle. I went and sat at a desk near the exit of the staffroom because i wanted to draw the seating layout of the teachers and that's the best place..Then, came this lecturer and she sternly asked what am i doing there. Of course, i told her that i'm drawing the layout. She said the office has a copy and i shouldn't be sitting there saying that the desk is only for students coming in for consultation.
Fine! I got up and walked back to my... (more)

My working life

I've officially started working 2 weeks ago.
And this is basically what I do everyday:
1. Online chatting
2. Class observation. Sit at the back of the class, watching my colleague teaching.
3. Consultation hour. No students come in. Surf the net.
4. Training (occasionally). Similarly, just sit back and listen.
5. Go home at 2pm.
WOo HOo..
I'm LOVIN' it.

Congratulations! You've won RM11 000. Love, MAXIS

I woke up yesterday morning to this sms:
Congratulation! Anda memenangi CEK TUNAI RM11,000.00 from MAXIS. Info sila hubungi perkhidmatan Hotlink MAXIS 006281399293555. Terma Tertakluk
I was so happy! Ok ok. I know that there are many cases these days where ppl cheat your money by telling you that you've won something, eg cash, prizes etc. But I have a feeling that this has got to be true since it's an sms from my phone service operator HOTLINK. I've received many advertisements from HOTLINK before so I know that this has got to be from HOTLINK as well. IT HAS GOT TO BE! (I DON'T CARE)... (more)

My Malay labmate suggested that I fast for a day. I'm not quite sure about it even though ppl tell me I'm fat. What's worst, my mum said I'm fat, which is quite unusual for her to say that coz all these years, she tells ppl that I'm skinny and eat like a cat.
Right now, with my Malay friend, sitting near me, happily and willingly fasting, I thought I could just follow suit. But I'm thinking of this:

HOW LAR?!
Can't I just think of a salad?

I was in Penang last weekend to attend a wedding dinner which was on a Friday. Of course, I stayed over for the weekend to indulge in my annual hawker food eating spree. First stop was the RM5.50 good-but-so-damn-expensive-and-stupid-self-service CHAR KUEY TEOW at Lorong Selamat. Seriously, it was not as nice as what I tasted before. %#$!&%
Up next was the really-cheap-and-mouth-watering RM2.30 ASAM LAKSA near the Kek Lok Si temple. Whoa. That one really champion man. No chunky fish that usually spoils the texture of the soup. Yummy Yummy.
What I had for my dinner... (more)

Arrgghh!!
Life's so busy lately. Other than having to survive a 5-hour long journey driving up to Penang, 10-hour ride touring around the whole Penang island (from Georgetown-Balik Pulau- Bayan Lepas- Georgetown) and another 4-hour journey driving back home, I'm soo breathless with all the work load that I have.
3 presentations, 2 papers and a thesis. I've only finished 50% of them.
And when I look at the mirror, the panda is staring back at me.

Somebody, save me!

I have competition.
Darling found a new sweetheart last Friday. He spotted 'her' sometime ago and I knew he got this urge to get cozy with her. Even his brother got an eye for her. B**ch!
Little did I know they both approached her on Friday.
And now, darling's spending 86 400 seconds every day for the past two days on her, instead of me.
I shall expose her here. Let her be shameful what of she did to my darling. She's gonna get it from me one day.

Victoria - Melbourne

Melbourne City
Melbourne Central Business District (CBD) is rather small, compared to KL. High rise buildings are concentrated in a squarish vicinity and there are not many of 'em. Remembering the streets name isn't a problem. Travelling in the city is easy and convenient. Trams are everywhere. I could even ride for free in a special tram that goes round and round the city. Like I've mentioned, the city ain't that big.

[edited: Too add in more photos]

Day 3 of our vacation, we followed a tour to the Great Ocean Road (GOR). Main highlights along the Great Ocean Road are Torquay (surfers paradise), Apollo Bay (where we stopped for lunch), Twelve Apostles, Loch Arc Gorge, Port Campbell and the London Bridge/London Arch. The journey was a tiring one. 4 hours to reach the stunning Twelve Apostles.

And it was indeed a good wait. The Twelve Apostles was a majestic sight! Some may say it's a waste of time to travel so far just to see a few rocks. But if you are actually standing... (more)

I had been away to HangZhou/Wuxi/Suzhou/Shanghai for the past week. The sceneries were nice and the air was cool.
But what I can say now that I'm back home is
I LOVE THE TOILETS here (Malaysia)!

See what I mean.
P/s: Do not zoom into the picture below if you are planning to have your lunch/dinner. Not that I did not warn you.

Of course not all the toilets are like that. Especially, most of the toilets in Shanghai now have automatic flush system. But cleanliness wise is still 90% under satisfactory. I'm just not used to it.
